Launch Checklist

Do all of these before Nov 4. Everything else is in the day notes.

Account

  • Buy Skyborne Heroic Pack or higher ($29.99 minimum). Required for the Skyborne race; base subscription does not unlock it
  • Reserve the name Fifth Dreadclaw during Early Name Reservation (Oct 27 - Nov 3). Two-part names are region-unique, so the window matters
  • Check the Oct 2 cap-30 beta patch notes for anything that changed quests, XP, or dungeons (I keep this updated - see Open Items)

Addons (install before launch morning)

  • Questie (has Forever work in progress)
  • DBM (DBM-Vanilla)
  • AtlasLootClassic
  • Verify interface version 16001 compatibility on launch morning; beta addons may need a TOC bump

Character setup (do this before the queue, not during)

  • Create the character: pick High Order (Alliance) at creation
  • Keybinds set for Feral: Claw, Rip, Rake, Bear abilities, Faerie Fire
  • Read Reference talent map so the first 11 points are automatic
  • Know the first three moves: camping quest at 5, Feral Charge at 11, Bear Form quest at 10

Wallet

  • Expect to be broke. Bags first, nothing else. HAND EDIT TESTelse
